My summer internship of 2015 was at Multiplica. Multiplica was an agency that did a wide range of digital work–they designed apps & websites, strategized marketing campaigns & handled their clients PR.
I was hired as a Marketing intern because I wanted to get exposure to what a marketing role deemed. I was assigned to assist in the marketing of one of their clients, HBO Latin America. However, as is the case in many startups, I was also assigned various different tasks wherever they needed the most help.
I remember one of their designers would always be creating images of apps but I never quite understood what she was doing. It isn’t until two years later that I realize she was creating the UX/UI design for apps. It’s funny because since she knew I was good at Photoshop, so she asked me to help her create (what I now know to be) wireframes for a travel app. So, despite not even knowing what UX was at the time, I was already dabbling in that department.
Although I do not have access to those wireframes, what I have to show you here is some graphic design work I did for them. The CEO discovered I was good at Photoshop & all things graphic, so he started requesting some images from me ranging from internal announcements to infographics for his presentations:
